We go to my Aunt Sheryle's for a wedding shower this weekend.
I went blueberry picking today with Jane and Jonathan today.
I have to clean the house up before my sister arrives with Pete!
I started me cleaning job this week woot woot!
I have been doing alot of mowing and gardening.
I taught Jane and Judy how to mow this week:-)
I am doing science and math alot this week.
And I ate way to many blueberry's today!

Oh the joys of baby sitting!!!

So yesterday I babysat my cousin's kids, Tyler and Eleana Atkins. And talk about cute! Tyler is 2 and Eleana is 2 months. So for your enjoyment I took pictures from the day.

So to start out the day... Tyler decided that he wanted macaroni and cheese for Breakfast:-)


and I put Eleana in her little bouncy seat


which she loves to play in! ( that smile is just the cutest thing???)

we played inside for a while and then we went for a walk but that did not last very long because it started raining. We came back inside and Tyler had a snack...


Then I fed her and she went to sleep....aww....


and she woke up. Then we had a diaper change which made her really happy!

Then I fed Tyler lunch! wow that was a BIG mess to clean up!!!
Then Eleana woke up from yet another nap and (take note of the new dress that was um... the 4th diaper change:-) So she was happy to get all clean and dry yet again!!

And just when I thought things were going good this happens! So I fed her! and then she was happy again! LOL!



So then we go down stairs and I took a picture of Tyler kissing his little sister! ( wow those are some red eyes:)


Then of course the day would not be complete without taking pictures of us all!

at long last... an update!!!!!!!!!!

Well I know it has been like forever since I said anything of interest to you all. so here it goes. First of all I started a new Sunday school class that is really good! this is one of my homework assignments to put this passage into my own words. here is what the bible says...

Titus 2:3-5

: The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4: That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5: To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Then here is what I came up with after alot of work.

Older Women likewise. Do things that direct you toward holiness. Do not be false accusers, or being given to much wine, but be ye teachers of good things.

So that you can teach the younger women to show self-control, to love there husbands, to love and care for there children.

To show prudence and wise self-restraint in speech and behavior,

To be sexually pure. honorable, kind, and friendly

To be obedient to there own husbands, so that the word of God not blasphemed

I really love doing that! Digging into God's word and really trying to grasp what he is trying to say though a particular passage. It really blessed me today so I thought I would share. The only thing I wish I could get better is making it flow better.... Oh well.

Teenpact homework...(that was my life for about um.. a week)
Teenpact class.............( this year was by far the best we have ever had! I had such an amazing time! The staffers were wonderful and so sweet.. I will tell you more about them when I post pics. which I hope will be soon. and the students were all wonderfull as well.

I don't have alot of time right now... I have science,math,mowing,and cleaning to do.

Being Understood by God

So I was looking through my e-mail and saw this and thought it was really worth sharing... From

In psalm 73 Asaph is a bitterly confused man. He looks around and sees that the wicked are prospering while he, a righteous man, suffers. In this he is not unlike Job. The old equation of "works righteousness" no longer makes sense to him. And he is bitter and angry.
Everything changes for him the instant he enters the sanctuary of the Lord in verse 17. This experience of renewed Presence seems to make the confusion vanish like a mist. In 21 he apologizes for his outburst. (Though take note his angry words are now a part of holy scripture!) The act of taking his eyes off his enemies and looking once more toward the Father causes him to remember all a person need remember; He is always "with us," holding our right hand, guiding us and promising us a place.

This past Sunday...

This was taken Sunday at the Gibson City Bible church for the "Handles Messiah" Concert. Janessa,Jane, and I all played "Pastoral Symphony" for it.

Peter LaRock was a name I heard a lot
And I finally met him at our little spot
I set out in my mind not to like him at all
Infact I said I would rather look at the wall
This Peter was going to be so annoying and rude
Talking to no one but my sister the mean dude!
But then the day came when you walked though our door
Dad and Mom said come in all the more!
But to be quite honest with you...
I could not help but like him too.
There visit was so short
And I am going to miss them as they court.

And are the nicest person I can ever hope to meet!

it's been a while...

Yes that it has.. So here is what I have been doing this past week.(in a short version:)


Went to the IL State Capital with Mom, Janessa, Judy, and Jeff.... It got me really excited about this years Teenpact class.
Stood for 3 hours and directed people to the room where the IFFM people were meeting.
Listened to the most interesting conversations....And I mean strange. Take this for one
(this older man was talking to another man about how fickle women are!!!!! enough said;-)
Talked to a really cool lady for about 2 hours about...well most everything.
Am really tired
Am sick of seeing M&M's:-) lol
My feet hurt
My bed sounds most wonderful!

this first one is a book that I am reading right now. I hope to see the movie soon! It is called "Lorna Doone" it has to do with this group of people called the Doone's who were nothing but ruthless.

And I could not do a post about movies without taking the time to post about pirates of the caribbean 2!


This is one I saw not to long ago call "The count of MonteCcristo" Which was really good as well.

This one I put up Just for Jane! called " Wives and Daughters" Very slow but good:-)

This was my favorite read this year."Daniel Deronda" by Geroge Elliot the movie was just like the book! I just loved it! (as my family can tell you)
