Hey everybody! What have you all been up to lately? I have been doing alot of school! But some other things have been happining as well.....


JUST HAD TO SHARE!
I am going to be an Aunt! YAY! I feel like I am so old!I will bear the name of aunt when I am 15! woot woot(as Kelsie whould say!)Anyway.... moving on to more news...

YET ANOTHER VISTOR TO THE COLE HOUSE!(here to stay I think)We were all taking our daily walk and Judy and I were a bit behind the others. She and I were making our way to the end of the road when we heard a cat.... Now most of the time I would not just pick up a stray cat. But for one this cat was really skinny...And most of all the cat (I think) used to belong to our late neighbot Mr. Jiles. So, we are keeping it inside at the moment in a cage because it is a girl and we have boy cats out side... You all get what I am saying, right? As dad was saying to the little boys..... We don't need any little ones. Hehe. The poor thing is really scared and shy but is doing well. I wormed it(just to make Joseph happy). No, it needed it.
Anyway on to the other news.....

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT ME!
Ok, so you all know that mom,Jane,Judy,Jed,Jeff and I all went to my grandmas for a visit a while ago. And she sent us a clip from her paper.We all played for the nursing home while we were there.And this is what they said...


"Friday, /Aug 11. The monthly birthday party was hosted by Theresa Bruskirk, our dietary manager. during the party we had a great surprise-the Cole family came to entertain us. The program featured Joanna on the violin, Jane on the cello, Judy playing the viola and their mother, Pat, played the piano. Jed and Jeff sang with the group. You really have to hear them-their talent is amazing. Every one of the children acted like al parents would want their own to behave."

I think my pride is beginning to swell. LOL! It's too bad we all don't behave like that more often.

there is a first time for everything......

Boy is that true! Last night I had what looked like hives but we are not sure what I had.... I had bumps all over my arms and hands and when I went to bed I had them starting to show up on my feet!And boy did it itch! I did not get to sleep till 2:30 am.(I am so tired)But they were gone by morning.(Go figure)So I stade behind from church with Dad (becaues he has a cold)and Jed and Jeff. I don't think I am going to get much sleep till they take a nap! Have you all had the hives,or something like it before?

Well I guess you all are wondering if I have gone into deep dispare about school starting..... Actually I am rather enjoying it. I started high school this year! I really can't belive it... Tomorrow is Tusday which means that choir starts. Which also means that I am going to be gone from Bellflower for 4 days.I am going to my Aunt and Uncle's to help make Joseph's graduation cake. My Aunt is really good at cake decorating, she has made several wedding cakes too. So in return for teaching me cake skills, I am going to clean for her! I love cleaning her house. It is one of those old houses that has a beautiful attic and two stairways! But there are things I don't like to clean to. What do you all think of the new color? And this post would not be complete without these pictures........

What can I say... I have so enjoyed getting to know Megan better. In the school year evey other week Megan comes with us to chior. I so love the times when we talk about things we enjoy. (or should I say I talk, you listen) Hehe. Anyway, Thanks for always listening when I needed to talk. You have such a sweet spirit. You are happy,fun,and just a great person to hang around with. I still laugh thinking about our little joke with the Patriot movie. Don't worry. I won't tell the story on my blog yet..... Well I need to finish up for now. Dearest Dad,

So tonight we are all having a night to thank Dad for working on all our vans. Janessa and I made two pies for supper! And mom asked all of us kids to write Dad a thank you note so... I wrote Dad a poem.




Dearest Dad,

You rise up early to teach us God's Word(s)!
How God made the fish and the birds.
You go to work to teach safety
You wish some people would be a little more hasty.
In learning simple safety rules
You come home and fix the van with tools,
You put oil there and gas here

We had a baby Morning-dove with its mother or father on our side walk! They were rather tame. Their feathers look so soft!

This was taken at Jeremy and Jessica's party.You really can't see mom and dad very well though. Before you know it Jed will be taller then me!:-(

Judy's-is Beth- short for Bethany
Jed's-Peter after our sister-in-laws brother
