Dearest Dad,

So tonight we are all having a night to thank Dad for working on all our vans. Janessa and I made two pies for supper! And mom asked all of us kids to write Dad a thank you note so... I wrote Dad a poem.




Dearest Dad,

You rise up early to teach us God's Word(s)!
How God made the fish and the birds.
You go to work to teach safety
You wish some people would be a little more hasty.
In learning simple safety rules
You come home and fix the van with tools,
You put oil there and gas here
Even Al has shed a tear.
For the new red van needs lots of assistance
Which requires someone with a lot of persistence
Which happens to be a man I know
His name is Dad and I love him so!






I don't have a recent picture of Dad and I so this will have to do!(for now) Love Ya Dad!
